Edu Manzano denies he’s resigning from Pilipinas, Game K N B?

Edu Manzano started 2009 with a big bang. Having had a fair share of intrigues about his rules and objectives at the Optical Media Board, still, Chairman Edu is determined to put an end to piracy done through camcording. Nakausap ng ABS-CBN.com si Edu about this and he is also positive that in time, his goal to stop piracy will succeed. His team is in fact, working on everything possible now.

Isa rin sa mga sinigurado ni Chairman Edu ay ang hindi mabiktima ng camcording ang mga pelikula na ipinalalabas during the entire MMFF. He is working hand in hand with another team thatlooks after MMFF movies only shown in theaters, they see to it na hangga’t maari, ito ay nabibigyan ng sapat na proteksyon laban sa mga mapagsamantalang pirata. Sa ngayon, mainit na binabantayan ng task force ni Chairman Edu ang ilang lugar sa kalakhang Maynila, para tuluyan nang masugpo ang mga namimirata via camcording.These illegal act is very evident dahil pati ang mga pelikulang hindi pa naipapalabas ay nagagawan agad ng kopya.

Aside from his OMB concerns and wishes, Edu was faced by another controversy, of which everyone seems to be waiting for him to answer.A few days before New Year, news came out that he is leaving Pilipinas, GKNB?. Natanong tuloy si Chairman Edu, what would make him stay?Are there other demands or changes that need to be done? “No, walang ganoon. June and Cory are yet to talk.” However, there’ s one thing Edu wants, to have time for a vacation. A time for himself, where he can relax and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Ito lang daw ang tangi niyang hiling.
