Nikki Gil reacts on reports that she and Billy Crawford were caught doing PDA

Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford confessed late last year that they were in the getting-to-know-each-other stage but they were not yet into something serious. Billy even said that he was taking it slow with Nikki. But recently, the two are being rumored to being an item already after being spotted doing public displays of affection or PDA many times.

Nikki did not exactly deny this claim and explained that in show business, people have different interpretations of what they see and their opinion is beyond her control.

"May mga nababasa ako na naghahalikan daw kami na ganyan," Nikki began. "They can say what they want to say. It might tarnish the reputation but you know, what can I do?"

The singer said that she already has accepted the fact that intrigues are part of the business and suggested that as long as she does not see anything wrong with her actions, she is okay with it. "It's part and parcel of the business (intrigues). As long as we're happy, I'm happy, huwag na nating gawing madumi," Nikki stressed. "Possible namang maging pure ang isang relationship ‘di ba?"

Last December, during the Christmas special taping held at the Araneta Coliseum, ABS-CBN.com interviewed Kapamilya stars backstage and caught sight of Nikki and Billy being sweet to each other during the rehearsals earlier that night. Billy had his arms around Nikki's waist, while they were walking down the halls backstage. They were also constantly holding hands.

Nikki said that Billy gave her a watch as a Christmas present while she gave the international Fil-Am singer toys. Last Christmas, Billy's folks arrived in the country and spent the holiday season here. When asked if she has already met them, Nikki said she is waiting for the right time to see Billy’s parents. "No. Kasi kapag ganyan, seryoso na ang ganyan, eh."
