Star Sighting in Boracay: Willie Revillame and his Wow Cruisers

The arrival of Wow Cruisers I and II created quite a stir.

First, they are by far the most popular yachts in the country.

Second, the owner, Willie Revillame (inset) is presently the "most powerful" man on the land as cited by the print affiliate of PEP, YES! magazine.

Although news from Boracay last week were mainly about controversies, some of our celebrities still managed to have a relaxing vacation in that famous Holy Week destination.

One of them was Willie Revillame, who took a three-day break from his regular noontime show Wowowee.

In an article titled (Part 1) Star Sighting in Boracay last April 10, PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) said the TV show host was spotted at the Discovery Shores Boracay Resort and Spa.

He arrived with his two yachts, Wow Cruiser I and Wow Cruiser II, which the host revealed had been docked at the Subic Yacht Club on Holy Wednesday. It took him and his crew 14 hours to get to the tropical island the following day.

Willie was accompanied by director Bobot Mortiz, his on-camera assistant Bentong, and novelty songwriter Lito Camo, who helped the TV host in composing some of his hit songs, such as "Wowowee," "Pera o Bayong," and "Igiling-giling."
