Kim Chiu is sad she and Gerald Anderson are doing separate projects

While the Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson tandem has been one of the most successful love teams to date, the two stars are now doing separate projects. Kim is currently shooting a movie while Gerald is busy training for his new soap, Agimat, Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla. Kim revealed that she feels sad about not being with perennial partner Gerald. Ako pa rin yung number one fan niya,” Kim said.
In another interview, Gerald said that if he could have it his way, he would still choose Kim to be his leading lady for Agimat. When Kim was told about this, she said, “Wow, thank you.
About the rumors that Gerald will be paired with Sarah Geronimo in an upcoming project, Kim said that she is not yet aware about it, but if it is true, she will be happy for them. “Wala pa naman, eh. Kung meron man, susuportahan ko sila.”
While all of these changes are going on, the actress remains grateful for her and Gerald’s fans’ unending support. “Siyempre nagpapasalamat kami kasi pinagtatanggol nila yung love team namin. Sobra nilang inaaway lahat kung sino yung humaharang sa Kimerald, sobrang pinaglalaban nila kami at bihira lang yung may ganyang fans na pinaglalaban nila yung idolo nila and kung may project man sila Sarah at Gerald supportahan na lang natin sila.”
Meanwhile, Kim still maintains that she and Gerald are just enjoying each other’s friendship and that there is no romantic commitment. “Masaya kami kung ano man kami ngayon. Basta masaya kami.

John Lloyd Cruz advises Angel Locsin not to expect too much from him

“I’m just waiting for Angel. I’m hoping na after nitong soap niya (Only You) at pagka puwede na kong magsimula for the soap opera at maging maayos naman ang pag-uusap, sana wala nang problema,” pananabik ng aktor. “I’m really hoping na mangyari na siya this year,” aniya.
“I’ve been blessed [dahil] ang mga nakakatrabaho ko, especially ‘yung mga leading ladies, kumbaga they only have nice words for people.
“I just want to share experiences with you in the most memorable way possible. Mag-enjoy lang tayo. More than the work that we have to do, mas importante ‘yung mga moments natin off-cam.
“Now, mas willing siya to take on more new roles, more mature, more sensitive, and more daring hindi lang in terms of sensuality.

Does KC Concepcion feel pressured about making ‘Lovers in Paris’ a big hit?

After joining her mother Sharon Cuneta in the latter’s Mega Concert tour in the US, KC Concepcion is back to work on Lovers in Paris, her first teleserye which is scheduled to air in August on ABS-CBN. KC told ABS-CBN.com that taping for Lovers in Paris has been a great learning experience for her. “Parang against all odds ang situation naming lahat. This is my first teleserye pero lahat ng mga kasama ko, both actors and the production team, ang dami na nilang experiences sa paggawa teleserye. Sobrang ko silang tinitingala. I believe I’m learning from the best. They really show it. Humahanga ako sa kanila.”
Lovers in Paris is an adaptation of the popular Koreanovela of the same name. ABS-CBN has produced several top-rating teleserye adaptations like Kim Chiu’s My Girl, Bea Alonzo’s I Love Betty La Fea, and Angel Locsin’s Only You. For her part, KC admitted that she feels pressured to continue that winning streak. “We’re hoping for the best. Syempre ‘yung Only You ang lakas sa ratings. We’re all doing the best we can.”
However, KC clarified with ABS-CBN.com that she is not competing to surpass the success that Kim, Bea, and Angel have achieved with their respective teleseryes. “Kaming mga artista, we’re not here to compete naman with each other. Ang networks lang talaga ang nagko-compete. As artists we only do our best. We love the character na ginagampanan namin.”
The daughter of the Megastar promised the legions of ABS-CBN Primetime Bida followers that they will see a very different KC when Lovers in Paris debuts on TV. Pero through my character in Lovers in Paris makikita niyo how I will try to reach out to a much broader audience.
The 24-year-old beauty added that she chose to make her own version of the character Vivian compared to that of the original Koreanovela. “Nung una pinapanood ko ‘yung Lovers in Paris pero naisip ko what if hindi ko na lang panoorin and gumawa ako ng sarili kong Vivian. Makikita niyo talaga na ibang-iba ako. Maingay, loka loka, makulit.
Valerie Concepcion bares latest TV project

MANILA – Actress-host Valerie Concepcion is excited with her upcoming television series, "Pat is Tin."
Concepcion will play the role of Patricia "Pat" Zapanta, an overweight woman whose soul gets trapped inside the body of a sexy lady named Kristine "Tin" Alfonso (Cai Cortez).
Iyon ang challenge," Concepcion said.
Concepcion said this is the first time that she met newbie actress Cortez so they still need to spend some "bonding" time together.
The “Wowowee” host said she hopes her fans will support her latest project.
The other cast of the upcoming series are Carmi Martin, K Brosas, Wendy Valdez, Roldan Aquino, Andre Garcia and Jon Avila.
