Is Janice de Belen moving back to ABS-CBN?

Actress Janice de Belen is set to appear in a "Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK)" episode, triggering speculations that she might become a Kapamilya again.

Directed by Jerry Sineneng, De Belen is taking on a role of a mom who tries to bridge the gap between her and her 4 sons. She will work again with William Martinez in the MMK episode.

"May pinanggalingan kasi may kinalaman sa nangyari sa buhay ko in the past," an excited De Belen told ABS-CBN News. "Si William and I worked so many times already so parang hindi naman bago [na mag-trabaho ulit kami sa isang project].”

"It's been a while… since nag-appear ako sa MMK. May nerbiyos ng konti pero excited ako. Kung lahat ng tao ay nae-excite, nae-excite din po ako. Kaya abangan ninyo," she added.

MMK is ABS-CBN’s longest-running drama anthology, with its first episode airing in 1991.

The actress, who hosted a now defunct morning television program in a rival network, quickly cleared that there are no talks yet with regard to her coming back to ABS-CBN. She answered in affirmative though when asked if she would consider the possibility of working for the network again.

When asked about her take on stars switching networks, she said: "I think okay lang ‘yon kasi mahirap ang buhay. Ang pag-aartista ay hindi stable job. Work is work. Kung pwedeng i-accept, why not?"
