Actress Gretchen Barretto’s planned showbiz comeback is definitely making waves. Aside from her upcoming teleserye with Derek Ramsay and Bea Alonzo, it has been reported that she is about to astound the viewing public with her yet another promising role in the longest-running weekly drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
In a short interview yesterday, Gretchen gladly told Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN) how excited she is with the said project. According to her, it is in fact yet another challenging role that she is very much happy to do. To further elaborate on the matter, she even gave a brief introduction of what the public might expect in the particular episode. She said, “Maraming challenges talaga ang role ko dito. Ako ay isang guro na mai-in love sa isang sundalo, mabu-byuda at mai-in love ulit—ito controversial talaga dahil mai-in love ako sa isang pari.”
