Billy signs a 2yr contract renewal with ABS-CBN!

Billy Crawford signed a two-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. "This is a renewal contract for two years with ABS-CBN [it means] I'll be staying here, today is the day. I really am excited, siyempre parang mag-start ka ulit ng buhay mo niyan. Parang nag-recoup ka. Mapapagod ka uli pero okay lang. It is all worth it. From the staff to all the artists, it just feels good to sign a new contract. It means they trust you and vice-versa."

According to Billy, signing the contract is one way to dismiss the issues about him transferring to another network. "May mga sinasabi ng mga tao na aalis daw ako, so I just want to confirm na nandito kami lahat [with the bosses] and pumirma na ako. I don't think dapat pa nating pag-usapan kung lilipat ako o hindi, kung nililigawan ako o hindi kasi nandito na tayo. I have already signed the contract and as a respect din naman na sobrang bait din naman talaga sa akin ng ABS-CBN at binigyan ako ng pagkakataon na…. Alam mo yung sinasabi nila na kapamilya ka talaga, you really are a family here so I am happy here talaga."

ABS-CBN has already laid out his future projects. "Yung iba nasabi na sa akin, nandito sa contract, yung iba hindi pa actually pwede pag-usapan because it is still being cooked. Ginagawa pa lang ngayon. More of the hosting side and performance din." Billy admits that he will be thankful if he will be offered teleserye projects but he will still prioritize being a performer. "Meron mga projects but as a performer. Kasi inuuna ko kasi performing and hosting, yun yung priority ko, I'm still in ASAP and Pilipinas Got Talent and after that may susunod na and it is a hosting job din. So mukhang matatagalan at mapaparami rin ang mga show ko dito."

Billy feels blessed and more than contented with what ABS-CBN has given him. He also denied the rumors that he is asking for a solo hosting project. "I am more than happy to work with everyone that I am here with. Ang maganda sa mga artists dito is hindi madamot, nagbibigayan talaga. If there is an opportunity, tingnan mo kami ni Luis Manzano, kahit naman sa pagho-host namin ni Luis, wala namang number one or number two. Pareho lang kaming siraulo pag nagho-host at pareho lang kaming nagbibigay kung ano man maibibigay namin at pareho kaming nagsasaluhan ng mga may kulang.
