The scheduled “closed-door, heart-to-heart” (as Funfare put it) meeting between Wowowee host Willie Revillame and ABS-CBN big boss Gabby Lopez wasn’t pushed through yesterday. Instead, Willie flew to Macau with some “confidantes/advisers” perhaps not just to take a much-deserved breather but to take stock of the situation — you know, will Willie go back to Wowowee or is he gone for good?
What if, just if, Jobert Sucaldito changes his mind and apologize to Willie for, as Willie fumed, hitting him “for one year now” on his (Jobert’s) dzMM program? Willie bowed on air that he would quit Wowowee if management wouldn’t fire Jobert.
“Knowing Willie,” said a Funfare DPA, “he’s firm on his decision. If you ask me, I don’t think he’ll ever go back to Wowowee. He’s tired; he has become sickly because of the daily grind. What’s the use nga naman of making millions if it’s his health that will suffer? My guess is that he will rest for six months and spring a surprise when he comes back.”
Yes, Funfare stands on its report that Willie has prepared a letter addressed to the ABS-CBN management, maybe not a resignation letter but one asking for the termination of his contract which is still good for one year and a half.
Like Wowowee fans, I wish that Willie and Jobert, with the intervention of ABS-CBN management, will iron out their differences and, as the adage goes, let the show go on.

Magaling si Willy meron syang audience infact.. kaya lang ala syang breeding. At dahil milyon na ang pera nya (Dahil sa Abs-cbn) di na nya kailangang ang kapamilya network...Sino kaya ang walang utang na loob... Well, sana lang wag na syang bumalik sa ABS-..
At para sa ABS CBN... kung nung wala si Willy OK kayo... Lalo na ngayon International na kayo. Sana lang wag na ninyong ibalik si Willy... nakakababa ng credibilidad ng ABS--- Sosyal na ang dating nyo dito amin.. but with Willy in the picture...para kayong pasosyal... Alisin na si Willy... E black out nyo sya.. na para bang wala kayong Willy na nakilala... Zero publicity ika nga... Yang ang bagay sa mayabang na yan...
Willie should not be proud of his success. He knows where he came from...He has no right to challenge the ABS-CBN management,to decide when it comes to termination of their employees. I suggest Willie should attend seminars on how to behave as a public figure. Or better go back to school. He is mean to his co worker, it's easy for him to embarrassed his co workers on the air. He has this feeling that he favors the unfortunates people. But the truth he is using this people for his gain. He is in contrast with the Lopes Family where humility is in their heart. While Willie Power Power Power is in his head....shame. I'm a follower of the show simple because it's an ABS-CBN show. Not because of Willie na mayabang & lack of manners
ABS CBN management TY at hinayaan nyo siyang makapag isip. This will be a self cleaning for his attitude ,,,,,
live with your PRIDE Willie... don't go back to Wowowee you are not needed in that show. It will rate & prosper without you.. Your absence surely will not be miss. And don't make it an excuse that because of the masang pilipino you want to go back to the show. Unless you learn how to control your temper you can be seen in public... But I think it's too late ugali mo na yan..
we all knw that we have a freedom of speech. bakit ng nagsalita na si willy on air or in television about what Jobert talk about him and his show then marami ang nagalit at nang-huhusga sa kanya kahit di nila alam ang buo story and remember sino ba ang ipinag lalaban ni willie bida ang mga taong nagmamahal sa show na wowowee.I think what willie said was true we knw jobert was part of ABS-CBN family pero tinitira nya ang wowowee na part din ng ABS-CBN at nilalait nya pa ang show na bakit nag ge-guest ng mga bobo at mahihirap na tao. dapat nga maging proud pa si jobert kasi mag kapamilya sila ng wowowee ang show na nagbibigay saya, nagbibigay pansin at pag-asa sa mga mahihirap at bobo sinasabi nya. well atleast ang wowowee nakakatulong sa ibang tao eh yung show mo ba jobert ano ang naitutulong sa iba taong naghihirap sa buhay.
